[Revision Quizzes] Quiz F (HL)

Hey there! You! Yes, you! I'd like to announce that t he first mini-series of Revision Quizzes came to an end. I hope y'all enjoyed the ride.  Feel free to DM me anytime if you have any suggestions! About the shitshow yesterday: there was a scammer in the server. Thanks to those who brought it to my attention and especially cyanine and RS. I really hope no one got scammed - I mean, tough shit, this trick's been pulled god knows how many times. N21s, as usual, have fun preparing. Uni folks, as usual, have fun suffering. I know I am. Until Tuesday, Andrew out!

Welcome back to Thursday Quizzes! If you're panickin because the exams are approaching, keep panicking. But know that I'm here for ya. c: Today let me introduce to you Quiz E, the first AAHL quiz of the series so far. Despite the HL quizzes mainly cover HL content, some SL content will be used as part of the solution. This time around, the focus is on complex numbers, a must  if you want to score higher than a 4 on the exam. Usual reminders: - these quizzes aren't easy - you can do this - breathe I shall be back with the regular topic tests and/or occasional content posts/long blog posts soon. Source:  Getty Images. Andrew's out!

[Revision Quizzes] Quiz D

Hi y'all. First off, sorry for not posting the quiz yesterday. I totally forgot yesterday was Monday (good job Androo) so it's finally up. I know y'all missed it. :D Secondly, marking for this series is finished. With a surprisingly * cough*  modest *cough*  number of papers, it took each of us about an hour marking. That's still quite generous compared to what you normally get from an examiner though; making your work crystal clear  will make sure the odds are in your favour. I totally understand that the majority of people writes their final IB exams in May instead of November and most of you haven't finished the curriculum, so no hard feelings. If you just found out about the mocks now, I'll post the updated version on the Google Drive with the corresponding markschemes soon. Maybe a couple weeks from now, whenever I'm in the mood to do housekeeping tasks. :D Heads up that you have about four (4) weeks before the N21 exams. Happy revision, N21s. Happy su...

[Revision Quizzes] Quiz C

Hi y'all. Welcome back to our all-time favourite series, Revision Quizzes. Today we'll have Quiz C, the third quiz of this season. These questions will force ya to use your heads a bit more than simply going through the motions, I promise. Without any further ado, here it is! Source:  AdventurousAndrew#7499, unless otherwise indicated. Gentle reminder that the mock exams for the N21 series will take place this weekend , October 2nd and 3rd. Mark your calendars! Before next time, peace! Andrew

[Revision Quizzes] Quiz B

It's Monday and we all know it's time for our favourite series, Revision Quizzes. We're at Quiz 2 out of 6 (y'all are a third through this pain already, be grateful) for the AA kiddos this time around. I'll repeat the rules of the game for the ones at the back. - 7 questions, 50 minutes. - Calculator use is clearly indicated on the quiz. - No notes allowed. - Go hard or go home - these questions aren't designed for the weak. Ready. Get set. Go. NB:  cot(x) = 1/tan(x), it's HL content but SL people has enough info to get the answer. May the odds be ever in your favour. Oop, should've kept that for the mock. [Revision Quizzes] Quiz A

Hey y'all! Starting today, I'll have a mini-series of blogposts on Revision Quizzes  (ta-da!) A quiz will be posted every Monday and Thursday for the next 3 weeks to help N21s revising for their exams. Each quiz should take about 50 minutes to complete if you really know your stuff .  Together these quizzes will cover all the topics of the course. Why revision quizzes? Questions are not  organised by topics. This is intentional - the distinction between a 5 and a 7 lies in your ability to recognise what the question is asking and what do you need to do to get there. Answers, not solutions, are provided. These are written in the same style as Section A, albeit a bit long. A section B-style question is simply many section A questions put together, ideally with a significant link between the parts. You are advised to spend no more than 7 minutes  on each question. Some are easy, some are hard. Some are shorter, some are longer. I've tried to keep them quite similar in l...
