[AAHL][AASL] [Bridging to a 7]: Quadratics and Logarithms
Hiya!
This is the second post in the series to help level 5/6 students to tackle the hardest questions on the exam.
Last time we looked at why hard questions are hard. Today we'll put it into action for the seemingly straightforward topics, quadratics and logarithms.
Before reading the examples, please make sure you're ready for the challenge. If you're unable to answer most of 'a' level questions on the unit tests, you should be brushing up on the basics instead of losing hairs over this.
4 questions, two on logarithms and two on quadratics, are discussed. From the more simple items to incredibly demanding manipulations, we'll walk through each one of them, following the thought process that leads to the final answer. You'll then have a chance to try a couple questions on your own, with answers to check if you've grasped the idea.
Enjoy!
Andrew
